I think that’s why art is so full of nudes: drapery is tough to depict!
I’ve found some great resources herehttp://www.drawspace.com/
They have them all labeled by skill level. It’s good stuff. Drawing clothes though is difficult. I learned by years and years of reading comics. looking at capes and how they contort around the body. It’s kinda stylized though. I had an art teacher last semester tell me that you can’t really teach how to draw clothes. The artist has to learn for themselves.
Also, check out Deviant Art. Do a search for “Tutorials” or something. I believe there’s a section for it. There’s tons of artists out there who give away their tricks.
As for books, I like Burne Hogarth. He does books like “Dynamic Figure Drawing”. But it’s stylized. If you want to go for a more realistic flavor I’ve heard artists kinda say he isn’t the best. In that same stylized theme I also like a book put out by Wizard Magazine called “How to Draw: Heroic Anatomy”. a bunch of comic book artists contributed to this. How to to draw body types, faces, hands, perspective…the whole thing. It’s a great reference tool.
If you want to learn about anatomy though get a medical reference book like Grey’s Anatomy or some other book that shows all the bones (if their drawn even better), I have a book called Anatomy for the Artist by Jeno Barcsay that does a pretty good job at detailing the skeletal system.
Also if you want realistic art, do not look to Anime or Manga as a reference. There isn’t much anatomy at play there.
