How Do I Change The Application Downloads Open In For The Macbook Pro?
I hate word on my mac (the test run) so all my downloads were opening to that. The trial ended and now I have open office. But my downloads wont work because they automatically try to open to word, and I can’t find a way to change it so they’ll open to open office.
I have a paper due tomorrow and this could really screw me up, so fast responses will be greatly appreciated!

it will open your word docs + the full version only costs $79
then select the default download opening app to be Pages.
Right click (ctrl) on the file > Get Info > Open With, use the drop down menu to choose OpenOffice > click on the Change All… button. NeoOffice is made for a Mac and IMO is better than OO, just my opinion.
